We currently have two vacancies in the school, Acting Deputy Headteacher and a Fixed Term KS2 Teacher.

Acting Deputy Headteacher

Job term: Temporary/Secondment for remainder of the school year.  Permission for secondment should be sought from governing bodies prior to application.

Would you like to work in a vibrant and dynamic school, with a strong Christian ethos, that sits at the heart of its community? As a result of movement within our trust we wish to appoint a Deputy Headteacher (L 2–4) supporting the acting headteacher, governors and school community in all aspects of school development for this academic year. Your role will be to support the acting headteacher in the day to day running of the school with particular focus on teaching and learning and maths. There will be a small teaching commitment.

St Michael’s C of E Primary Academy is a large primary school with a village feel. We pride ourselves on our warm and welcoming ethos.  We are an original member of the St Christopher’s Multi Academy Trust, we have dedicated staff and enthusiastic pupils and are a school which continues to develop.

The Governors and Senior Leadership Team are seeking to appoint an inspirational and motivated class teacher to join our team in October 2019 following internal reorganisation. We are keen to appoint a teacher who will make a positive impact on our Ofsted outstanding school and continue to improve our standards.
