Useful Information

School structure

We have a capacity for 420 pupils in the school and have a planned admission number for Reception of 60 pupils.  This number continues throughout the school in each year group.  There are fourteen single year classes, two classes per year group.

Classroom doors are opened at 8.50 and the external gates are unlocked at 8.40.

The times of the school day for Reception and KS1 (Years 1&2) are 9.00-12.00 & 1.00-3.15

The times of the school day for KS2 (Years 3-6) are 9.00-12.15 & 1.10-3.15

If you are going to be late collecting your child, please telephone the school.  We do not let children leave with any other adult unless we have had direct instructions from their parent or carer.

Sickness and Absences

Please telephone the school before 9.30 and leave a message on the answerphone.  If your child has had sickness and/or diarrhea, they will need to remain off school for 48 hours after the last bout of illness.  The guide below produced by the NHS is very useful to see when and for how long your child should be off school with many common childhood illnesses.

It is very important that any changes of telephone and mobile numbers for all contacts are given to the office as soon as they change. It is vital that we are able to reach you in an emergency situation or if your child is unwell.
