Tuesday Fellowship Tea Party

Each year the Tuesday Fellowship are invited to St Michael’s Primary School for an afternoon of entertainment and tea and coffee. The children send invitations to the members of the club (linked to St Michael’s Church) and then plan a programme of different activities for the visitors. For example children may sing songs, play individual instruments and may even do a dance.

 

The tables are all set up in the school hall with flowers which the children have brought in and there are plenty of cakes made by parents and children to eat.

 

Some parents kindly help with the tea and coffee and the children have squash. Everyone thoroughly enjoys the Tea Party. The children find plenty to talk about to the visitors and they enjoy talking to the children. It is a really pleasant and enjoyable afternoon.
