Local PE Consultant Matt Upston with the help of Schools Half Marathon Challenge have created some KS 1 PE activities focussing on Locomotion (Movement) Balance and Object Control for children to do while we are at home.
Each week will have a different theme and will consist of 11 Videos which will be released throughout the week.
Week 1 is pirates and has a warm up which can be repeated throughout the week and then a Stability, Locomotion and Object Control challenge released on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a family game too. There is also some downloadable guides to help with the challenges and also help with linked ideas for other educational activities and ideas on how to differentiate them for older or younger children. The videos can be followed and continued or used by parents to get ideas for some early years PE.
We will have a different theme each week to help with keeping interest and to make it fun.
I hope you like them. Week 2 will be animals!
