Welcome to the year 4 pages on the school website! We are Orca (Mrs Winslade & Mrs Connors) and Dolphins (Mr Latham).
Mrs Hocking (Monday - Friday), Mrs Chambers (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings) and Mrs Hunt (Thursday and Friday) work with both classes to support the learning.
Multiplication Tables Check - June 2023
The Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) is a short online multiplication tables check for all children in year 4. This will take place in June, and takes approximately 5 minutes per pupil. Results will be published by the end of the academic year. There is no pass mark assigned to the test.
The Department for Education (DfE) and Standards and Testing Agency (STA) have produced an information leaflet for parents all about the check. Click below to access this leaflet.

We will upload a weekly review and home learning newsletter each Friday to the year 4 Google Classroom. This contains information about our learning that week and any home learning challenges/assignments which have been set..

The document below is a guide for parents about logging into and navigating Google Classrooms. The document also contains information about creating, editing and uploading learning within Google Classrooms. A copy can also be found within the Year 4 Google Classrooms.
Home Learning:
All home learning assignments will be posted in our Google Classroom. These will be posted each Friday afternoon at 3pm and are due in the following Friday. If any work needs to be submitted, this can be done within the assignment itself in Google classroom.
