Year 3 had a fantastic time visiting Smeaton’s Tower on Wednesday!
We enjoyed walking along Plymouth Hoe and observing the sea with its dangerous rocks and potential hazards. The children had opportunities to sketch the Harbour and look carefully at boats on the water. This of course will support our Ocean Wave art project.
The children enjoyed drawing the Lighthouse and walking around its perimeters.
It was an incredible experience to go inside Smeaton’s Tower and climb the steep ladders to the top. What brave children!
